General terms and conditions for the accommodation contract

In the following, the term rental object applies to: holiday home, tent, motorhome, pitch and any further or similar accommodation offered by the campsite operator.

1. Formation of the contract

The accommodation contract is deemed to have been concluded once the rental object has been ordered by the guest and confirmed by the accommodation provider.

The accommodation contract is also deemed to have been concluded if the rental object or objects are not ordered in writing. A confirmation by the accommodation provider is only binding if it is issued in writing by post or by email. In this respect, confirmations, reservations or offers sent by any booking platforms likewise only become binding once they have been confirmed in writing by the campsite operator.

2. Withdrawal from the contract and cancellation conditions

If the guest withdraws from the contract, the accommodation provider is in principle entitled to the full remuneration for the contractually agreed service.

Services not used, such as breakfast, shall be deducted from this amount.

The accommodation provider will endeavour to re-let the rental object or objects released as a result of the withdrawal from the contract.

If the rental objects not used by the guest as a result of the withdrawal are let to other parties, the revenue generated from this shall be credited.

If the rental objects are not let to other parties, the accommodation provider may demand the contractually agreed remuneration and account for the expenses saved on a lump-sum basis.

For processing the cancellation we charge a flat handling fee of 25,- €.

Flat-rate cancellation charges:

  • Up to 60 days before arrival: free cancellation
  • Up to 40 days before arrival: 40 % of the agreed price
  • Up to 10 days before arrival: 70 % of the agreed price
  • Up to 1 day before arrival: 80 % of the agreed price
  • Later, or in the event of non-arrival: 100 % of the agreed price

3. Arrival and departure times

As a rule, the reserved rental objects are available to the guest from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure, the rental objects must be vacated by 10:00.

4. No entitlement to particular rental objects

The accommodation contract does not entitle the guest to be provided with any particular rental object.

Should no rental objects be available, the accommodation provider will endeavour to arrange equivalent accommodation.

5. Late arrival and re-letting in the event of non-arrival

Arrival should take place by 18:00 at the latest. If this is not possible, the accommodation provider must be informed.

Any deviations from this require the written form.

If the guest does not arrive by the agreed time, the rental object may be let to another party.

6. Deposit

The accommodation provider is entitled to require a deposit amounting to 50 % of the agreed service upon conclusion of the contract.

This is payable within 14 days. Exceptions require the written form.

7. Payment conditions on site

The agreed prices are based on the rate of value added tax applicable by law at the relevant time.

The services must be paid for by the day of arrival at the latest, in cash or cashless using accepted means of payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Price information in online and print media

The prices stated there include value added tax at the rate applicable at the time of publication.

For bookings made more than six months before the date of arrival, prices may change without prior notice.

9. Reservation of the right to change prices

The accommodation provider reserves the right to change prices at any time.

10. Payment by invoice

Payment by invoice is only possible by prior arrangement.
