Fresh fish
📍 Found all over Rügen
Smoked, pan-fried or tucked into a bread roll, fresh fish is simply part of life on Rügen. Herring, cod, zander and eel are the local favourites. Try regional specialities in one of the many small harbour pubs, or buy straight from the fishermen.
Tip: Have a fish roll in one of the harbour villages such as Schaprode, Sassnitz or Lauterbach.
